Where can a facility use less energy without compromising operations?
My contribution
As an Energy and Sustainability Analyst Intern, I completed ASHRAE Level 1 and Level 2 energy assessments for manufacturers.
I paired observations from facility audits with REopt models to identify efficiency, solar, and battery opportunities. Every recommendation had to make sense for the site’s equipment, schedule, and operating constraints as well as the model.
The 10 to 15 percent reduction in electricity demand listed in my résumé is identified potential rather than verified savings after implementation.
